INDIA AT THE ASIAN GAMES
Lekh Ram and Babu Lal clinched a bronze medal for India in men's pair rowing final in the Asian Games in Hangzhou.
Arvind Singh and Arjun Lal won India's first-ever silver in the lightweight double sculls.
In shooting, Ramita Jindal, Mehuli and Ashi Chouksey, won a silver in shooting (10m Air rifle team event).
• 19th Asian Games–
The Asian Games is the biggest sports competition in Asia, held once every four years. They are organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).
A multisport event, it is also called the Asiad.
It is recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
