U.S. military gets access to Papua New Guinea bases
The United States military can develop and operate out of bases in PNG, according to a landmark security pact underpinning U.S.'s efforts to outflank China in the Pacific.
Now Washington would have "unimpeded access" to the sites to place meterial and supplies, and "exclusive use" of some zones ro carry out construction activities.
