Prime Minister marks 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat with nostalgia(PG 1)(GS 2)

•The preservation and promotion of education and culture have been an ancient tradition of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday at the 100th episode of his monthly Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast.
• The country is working towards that tradition through various means such as the National Education Policy and the option of studying in regional languages, he added. Mr. Modi said that just like the occasion of Vijay Dashami when it was first aired on October 3, 2014, Mann Ki Baat had become a festival of goodness and positivity. He said the programme was his way of connecting with the people since he came to Delhi as Prime Minister in 2014.
•Mann Ki Baat ( Speaking from heart) is an Indian radio programme hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he addresses the people of the nation on All India Radio, DD National and DD News.
•Since the first show on 3 October 2014, there have been 97 episodes.
The 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat will be broadcast on April 30, 2023 and it will be a worldwide broadcast
