NATIONAL OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIPSCHEME (NOS)-
To facilitate the low income student s belonging to the Scheduled caste , de notified nomadic and semi nomadic tribes, landless Agricultural Labourer’s and traditional Artisans category to obtain higher education viz. master’s degree or Ph. D courses by studying abroad there by improving their Economic and social status.

30% of the scholarship or each ear shall be for women candidates.
Candidates already staying or studying or having completed studies abroad by utilizing any other scholarship from the government or through their own funds are not eligible to apply under the scheme.
Candidates having an unconditional offer of admission to top 500 ranked foreign institute as per the latest available QS ranking only will be selected for grant of scholarship during the first round of selection . In the second round, other students will be selected.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship ,at least 60%marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination would be required .
Age should not be more than 35% years, as on the first day from all sources shall not exceed Rs, 8.00 lakh per annum .
