Karakoram Anomaly ,Maharastra's "Jeevan shala", Jagriti campaign
KARAKORAM ANAMOLY-
Karakoram Anomaly is the abnormal growth of glaciers in the central part of the Karakoram whereas in other glacier there is effect of ice melting ,retreat and deep effects of global warming.
According to the American Meteorological Society’s Journal of Climate ,has the first time fond winter precipitation associated with Western Disturbance (WD) has been triggering and sustaining the Anomaly.
JEEVAN SHALA-
How Bhil’s in Maharastra ,Madhya Pradesh set an example through ‘Jeevan Shala
Tribal education in India is facing a lot challenges in terms of accessibility ,affordability, and availability(3A).In this situation India’s Bhil community opened up schools called “Jeevan shala” for their children .
The students attending the schools are educated not just in regular subjects but also about water, forest, and land .The are introduced to all the herbs found in the forest as well as edible tubers. They are informed about their uses and consumption.
The same initiative has been in news named ‘Shala Sangwari’ from Chhattisgarh’s Kabirdham district aims to employ educated Baiga tribal youth by making them teach their community’s children in primary and middle schools.
JAGRITI MASCOT-
Jagriti is a mascot for empowering consumers and generating awareness about consumer rights and addressing solutions to the problems faced by the consumers.
Aim- to strengthen its consumer awareness campaign presence in digital and multimedia and reinforce a young empowered and informed consumer .
Jagriti mascot shall be shown along with tagline “ Jago Grahak Jago” in all it media campaign.
